Automation is an underappreciated artform, filled with sprawling communities. However, it has been unapproachable & underground for the average Joe due to the time or education investments required.

This proposal shall attempt to present alternative ways to shake up the status quo, enabling more people to access automation’s benefits for the day-to-day, as well as improve the experience for the initiated.

My personal history with Tasker

I’ve been using Tasker for years now for many tasks, such as:

• Controlling lights using my screen brightness
• Silencing my phone when I leave my house
• Rotating Waze when I get in my car
• Opening MySejahtera’s QR scanner directly with a button long press

However, it is far from a perfect app, which inspired me to work off of it as base for improvement.

      • e.g.
        1. Open an app
        2. Turn off a smart light
        3. Dismiss a notification
        4. Disconnect bluetooth
